In recent years the world of work has changed dramatically. Economic uncertainty and growing competition have placed greater demands on staff. Employees often struggle to keep pace with the new demands and opportunities created by various types of mobile technology and the expectation of always-on connectivity. Workplace stress is a growing phenomenon.
This workshop introduces participants to the potential of Mindfulness to allow us to take better care of ourselves in the workplace. Through mindfulness we can learn to focus better and make wiser choices about how best to use our time. In addition, the workshop will explore ways of being more mindful and compassionate in our interactions with colleagues. There will be a break for lunch, which is available locally or people can bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee provided.
