Our weekly pregnancy class is open to all expectant mothers past their first trimester – i.e. on and after 14 weeks of pregnancy. We recommend that you come to try one class to see if the style of yoga suits you .

In the class you will be working in a supported way through various standing, seated, inverted and relaxation asana ( or poses). The asana will increase energy, as well as building strength and stability in the body. We will provide a centering practice as you prepare for your babies arrival.

Margaret who teaches the pregnancy yoga class is one of Ireland’s most experienced Iyengar Yoga teachers with permission from Iyengar Yoga to teach special pregnancy classes – She has been teaching pregnant women since 2000 and running specialist pregnancy classes since 2006. As a mother of two she teaches from experience, knowing that each pregnancy differs in its requirements and each pregnant mother differs as regards ability.

Class costs : Drop-in €18 , or €15 (unwaged). If you decide the class is right for you its much more reasonable to buy an iYOGA Card  – this card can be used at iYOGA for other classes after the birth as well.
